Networkpak Today — A Full-Service Packaging Partner.

From its humble beginnings as a trade gluer over 50 years ago, Networkpak has grown into a full-service packaging manufacturer — producing folding cartons, labels and formed trays for brands across Australia. What hasn't changed is the family ownership, hands-on expertise, and commitment to quality craftsmanship that Charles Powell instilled in the business back in 1972.

Where It All Began: 1972

Networkpak's story begins in February 1972, when Charles Powell founded CP Gluing — the first trade gluing business in Australia. At a time when carton manufacturers relied on external specialists for finishing, CP Gluing carved out a niche as an expert in trade carton gluing, quickly establishing a reputation for precision and reliability that would define the business for decades to come.

In 1995, Charles' sons, Matthew and Stewart Powell, joined the business — bringing fresh energy and a shared commitment to the values their father had built the company on. Under their leadership, CP Gluing continued to grow, and to this day, the business still operates as a specialist in trade cutting and gluing, a testament to the enduring strength of the original model.

2011 — The Birth of Networkpak

Building on the success and expertise developed through CP Gluing, Networkpak was formed in 2011. This marked a significant evolution — from a specialist trade gluing operation into a broader packaging manufacturer, capable of delivering complete, end-to-end carton solutions to Australian businesses.

In 2015, Paul O'Sullivan joined Networkpak as a shareholder, bringing additional expertise and leadership to support the company's next phase of growth.

Sustainability Built Into Every Carton.

Designed for Australian recyclablity

Our folding cartons are designed to be recyclable or biodegradable through Australian kerbside paper and cardboard recycling systems wherever possible — avoiding materials, coatings, laminates, adhesives, inks or embellishments that compromise fibre recovery, and using exclusively water-based inks.

Using only responsibly sources materials

We source paperboard from responsibly managed forests and credible chain-of-custody certified sources wherever available, while supporting increased use of recycled fibre where it is fit for purpose, food-safe where required, and doesn't compromise product protection.

Reduced waste whenever possible

We're committed to reducing waste at every stage of manufacturing — over 95% of consumables and waste is recycled or repurposed. In-line waste extraction on every waste-producing machine automatically captures material direct from the source, compacting it into a useful raw material for by-products such as kitty litter.
